I draw out of boredom, as a means of exorcism, or in response to an overwhelming need to present something to another person (i.e. "You kick my ass. Please accept this as an attempted expression of your awesomeness").

I've been in the habit of throwing things away once they were finished, but after having a friend or two rifle through the garbage and threaten bodily harm, I caved in and started holding on to my doodles.
